Do I have to register to play?
Under Football Queensland rules and regulations, all players who take the court must be registered.
Can I register if I don't have a team to play in?
Of course! First submit the individual player nomination form below, then we will be in touch regarding potential team placement. Once we have placed you into a team, make sure to register on Play Football before your first game.
Does registration in summer season cover winter season as well?
Yes! If you complete a summer season registration, you don’t have to worry about registration or paying a registration fee for the winter season that follows.
Can I play if I haven't yet paid the registration fee?
In short, you can if you’re on a payment plan. At Ipswich Futsal, we aim to make futsal as accessible as possible to all of our members. So if you are having troubles paying the registration fee, either email us or talk to someone at the front desk on match night and we can negotiate a payment plan that works for you.

Team Nomination

Team managers

  • Ensure all of your players are registered before your first game. We reserve the right to prevent unregistered players from taking the court.
  • Provide the FFA numbers of as many of your players as possible. Although not mandatory, this will make the process of matching nominated players to registered players far quicker and easier. See our guide on finding your FFA Number.
  • Consider getting a match strip from a sports supplier, for example Veto Sports.  It looks cool and you may score more goals! We also allow the submission of custom team logos to be displayed on the draw (GameDay App).

After double checking your team nomination for mistakes, click “Submit” at the end of the form. If submitted successfully, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your team nomination included.

If you need to add more players to (or remove players from) your team nomination after submitting the nomination form, send us an email with the team name and player name (and FFA number if known). If an individual player is allocated to your team, we will add the player to your team nomination for you.

      Equipment (Player to Supply)

      • Non-marking shoes
      • Shin-pads are mandatory.  A no-pads no-play rule applies
      • Team shirt. All players must wear matching shirt colours.  Show pride in your team by purchasing matching jerseys.  One such supplier of sporting equipment is Veto Sports
      • Food and drink other than water is not allowed in the sports hall.  Do not spill your water on the floor, as it causes a slip hazard.  People found to intentionally spill water onto the floor will face disciplinary action
